Overnight incidents 5/6 January 2021

Penistone firefighters were called out to an accidental chimney fire at a premise on Manor Park, Silkstone, Barnsley at 7:55pm. The fire crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

Several wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 9:35pm on Burton Avenue, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Rossington station attended the incident. They came away at 10:05pm.

Three fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations attended an accidental fire at a restaurant on London Road, Sheffield at 10pm. An external extraction unit was involved in the fire. Firefighters left the scene at 11:45pm.

At 10:10pm firefighters from Lowedges, Parkway and Birley Moor stations were called out to an accidental fire involving a fryer at a commercial premise on Abbeydale Road, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 11:15pm.

A moped was deliberately set on fire at 10:15pm on Asquith Road, Bentley, Doncaster. A fire crew from Adwick station attended the incident. They left the scene at 10:35pm.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 10:15pm on Earlesmere Avenue, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They came away at 10:45pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to an accidental rubbish fire at 12:25am on Infield Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 1:05am.
