Overnight incidents 5/6 July 2021

Three fire crews from Rotherham, Maltby and Edlington stations were called out to a bungalow (which was under construction) fire at 7:30pm on Vale Avenue, Thrybergh, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 8:35pm.

Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:35pm on Holly Bush Lane, Edenthorpe, Doncaster. The crew came away at 8pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8pm on Algar Drive, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. The crew left at 8:30pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 10:45pm on Dukes Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:05pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving a fridge, mattress and rubbish at 11:05pm on New Street, Darfield, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 12:15am.
