Overnight incidents 6/7 October 2021

Three fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations were called out to an accidental flat fire at 7:45pm on Brunswick Road, Sheffield. The fire was in the kitchen it is believed that the toaster was near paper which had ignited. There were no casualties. The crews left the scene at 9pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 7:45pm on Lower Leger Way, Intake, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 8:10pm.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to an accidental car fire at 8:55pm on Hurst Lane, Auckley, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:45pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:40pm on Doncaster Road, Darfield, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 10:10pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate van fire at 12:40am on Brockwood Close, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:20am.

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Rotherham and Central stations were called out to a premise fire at 1:15am on Standon Drive, Sheffield. The two occupants had already climbed out of a bedroom window before fire crews arrived, both went to hospital with smoke inhalation. The fire is believed to have started accidentally due to tea lights left on top of a fridge. The crews left the scene at 2:30am.
