Overnight incidents 7/8 January

A garage was deliberately set on fire at 9pm last night on Oldfield Lane, Stainforth, Doncaster. Three fire engines from Thorne and Doncaster stations attended.  They left the scene at 9:35pm.

At 10:50pm a campervan was deliberately set on fire. Two fire crews from Doncaster station were called to the incident on Beech Road, Armthorpe, Doncaster. They left at 11:50pm.

Firefighters from Tankersley station were called out to a wheelie bin which had been deliberately set on fire on Foster Way in Sheffield at 11:10pm. The crew left the scene at 11:30pm.

A Ford Ka car was deliberately set on fire at 12:30am this morning on Batemoor Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Lowedges station attended.  They came away at 1am.

At 1am Maltby fire station were called to a VW Polo which had been deliberately set on fire on Hellaby Lane, Hellaby, Rotherham. The crew left at 1:35am.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a shop on Pontefract Road, Lundwood, Barnsley at 1:15am. A bin inside the premise was on fire. The crew used a hose reel to quickly put the fire out before leaving the scene at 1:45am. It is believed to be a deliberate fire.

At 1:30am a skip had been deliberately set on fire on Station Road, Wombwell, Barnsley. A fire crew from Tankersley station were called out to the incident.  They left at 2am.
