Overnight incidents 9/10 December

Maltby station were called to a bin fire at 7:15pm last night on Braithwell Road, Maltby, Rotherham. Crews used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 7:45pm. This was a deliberate fire.

A Honda Civic car was deliberately set on fire at 7:30pm on Shady Side, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. Edlington firefighters quickly put the fire out before leaving at 8:05pm.

At 7:50pm on Catley Road, Sheffield a van was deliberately set on fire . Parkway station attended the incident. They left the scene at 8:10pm.

A pile of rubbish was set on fire last night at 7:55pm on Lang Avenue, Lundwood, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station were called to the incident. They came away at 8:20pm.

A Fiat car was deliberate set on fire on Blackstock Road, Sheffield at 10:40pm. A fire crew from Central station attended the incident.  They used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 11pm.

Two cars were set on fire overnight at 2:10am. Askern station attended the incident on Campsall Balk, Norton, Doncaster. A Honda and a Peugeot 206 were well alight. The crew quickly extinguished the fire before leaving the scene at 2:45am.

At 4am this morning Maltby station were called to a Hyundai car which had been deliberately set on fire on Salisbury Road, Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters left the scene at 4:30am.

Firefighters from Tankersley station were called out to a vehicle fire on Elm Street, Hoyland Common, Barnsley at 4:40am. The Landrover Discovery had been deliberately set on fire. Firefighters left the scene at 5:05am.
