A wheelie bin was set alight on Morton Gardens in Sheffield around 8pm on Monday (9 March). Birley Moor firefighters spent around half an hour tackling the blaze.

A skip containing household waste was set alight outside a house that was being renovated on Walpole Close, Balby. The fire broke out at around 1am and Edlington firefighters dealt with it.

Some rubbish at the side of the road was set alight on Greave Lane, High Green at around 4.15am. Tankersley firefighters used a hose reel to put it out.
