Overnight incidents to 5/6 November 2020

Central firefighters were called out to an outhouse on fire at 7:35pm on Shoreham Street, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally due to a firework. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

At 7:55pm Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate fire in a park on Oswin Avenue, Balby, Doncaster. The crew came away at 8:15pm.

A fire crew from Stocksbridge station were called out to conifer trees on fire at 7:55pm on Whitewell Lane, Sheffield. It is believed that a firework had accidentally landed in the tree. The crew left at 8:40pm.

A commercial wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8pm on Dundas Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left the scene at 8:30pm.

Askern firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 8pm on Station Road, Askern, Doncaster. The fire crew left the scene at 8:35pm.

A fire crew from Dearne station were called out to an incident on Aldham House Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley at 8:10pm. A firework had been deliberately used to set fire to rubbish and leaves. The crew left the scene at 8:30pm.

At 8:25pm a fire crew from Cudworth station attended a fire on Knutton Road, Sheffield, involving plastic tubing which is believed to have been started deliberately due to a firework. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 9pm last night on Edge Well Rise, Sheffield. Cudworth firefighters attended the incident. They left at 10pm.

Parkway station were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 1am on a field at Skelton Way, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:15am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to extinguish a bonfire at 1:40am on West View Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 2:15am.

Two fire crews from Elm Lane and Rivelin stations attended a premise and shed fire at 3:40am on Nether Shire Lane, Sheffield.  There are no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Firefighters left the scene at 5:40am.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 3:40am on Wombwell Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. A fire crew from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left the scene at 4:35am.

At 3:50am a fire crew from Central station were called out to a deliberate car fire on Ronksley Road, Sheffield. They came away at 4:15am.
