Weekend incidents 11/13 February 2022

Two fire crews from Birley Moor and Aston stations were called out to an accidental fire involving conifers and fencing at 11:45am (Saturday) on Middlecliff Close, Sheffield. The fire had also spread to the outside of a premise. Crews left the scene at 1:10pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended an accidental kitchen fire at 3:55pm (Saturday) on Albert Road, Parkgate, Rotherham. The occupants were already safely out of the premise when crews arrived. The fire is believed to have started at a toaster. The crews left the scene at 4:30pm.

Firefighters Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a derelict building fire at 4:25pm (Saturday) on Redmires Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been set on fire deliberately. Crews left the scene at 6:45pm.

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Central and Tankersley stations attended an accidental premise fire at 4:25pm (Saturday) on High Street, Ecclesfield, Sheffield. The fire had started in a bedroom and had spread to the roof area. The crews left the scene at 7pm.

A garage was accidentally on fire at 12:05am (Sunday) on Yarlside Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations attended the incident. They left the scene at 1:10am.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to an accidental car fire at 3:10am (Sunday) on Allendale Road, Barnsley.  The crew came away at 3:40am.

Firefighters from Maltby station were called out to a horse manure pile which was accidentally on fire at 12:45pm (Sunday) on Bawtry Road, Tickhill, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 1:15pm.

Two fire crews from Tankersley and Barnsley stations were called out to an HGV which had been set on fire deliberately at 5:20pm (Sunday) on Cross Keys Lane, Hoyland Common, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 6:15pm
