Weekend incidents 15/18 April 2022

Friday 15 April

Parkway firefighters were called out to a pram on fire in bushes at 8:55pm on Lewis Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 9:25pm.

Saturday 16 April

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate car fire at 12:25am on Gaunt Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:10am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 5:05am on High Street, Conisbrough, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 5:25am.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to an accidental car fire at 11:55am on Bleachcroft Way, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 12:20am.

A shed and fence were accidentally on fire at 12:10pm on Saffron Drive, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 1:15pm.

Tankersley firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving grassland at 3:15pm on Meadowfield Drive, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew came away at 4:45pm.

Sunday 17 April

Three fire crews from Birley Moor, Parkway and Central stations were called out to an outbuilding on fire at 6:45am on Sheffield Road, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 10:55am.

Maltby firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving conifers at 2:35pm on Ryton Close, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 3:15pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations attended an accidental chip pan fire at a premise on Milnrow Road, Sheffield at 2:45pm. The crews left the scene at 3:25pm.

Several fire crews have attended a moorland fire at 9:55pm on Thorne Moors, Grange Road, Moorends, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 8:10am.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 11:55pm on Carlton Road, Athersley South, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 12:50am.

Monday 18 April

Rotherham firefighters were called out to an accidental shed fire at 2:20am on Michael Croft, Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 3:25am.
