Weekend incidents 2/4 September 2022

Friday 2 September

Firefighters from Lowedges station were called out to an accidental shed fire at 8pm on Ashfurlong Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

Three fire crews from Cudworth, Adwick and Dearne stations attended a flat fire at 11pm on Middlecliffe Lane, Middlecliffe, Barnsley. The accidental fire was in a bedroom. The crews came away at 1:05am.

Saturday 3 September

Four fire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a semi-detached house on fire at 3:15am on Deep Lane, Sheffield. Luckily there were no casualties. The fire is believed have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 5:10am.

A car was accidentally on fire at 3:20pm on Mortimer Road, Midhopestones, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 4:30pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 9:55pm on Scarbrough Crescent, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10:40pm.

Sunday 4 September

A car was deliberately set on fire at 7:10am on Howell Lane, Great Houghton, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 8:25am.
