Weekend incidents 23/25 September 2022

Friday 23 September

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley stations were called out to a bungalow on fire at 8:55pm on Peel Street, Worsbrough Common, Barnsley. This was an accidental fire. Two occupants suffered slight smoke inhalation. The crews left the scene at 10:30pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:55pm on Nicholas Lane, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 10:50pm.

Saturday 24 September

Two fire crews from Stocksbridge and Tankersley station attended a garage at 2:05am on Manchester Road, Stocksbridge, Sheffield. A metal cage with cardboard and food items were on fire. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews came away at 3:35am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 4:55am on Eastern Drive, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 5:50am.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to an accidental car fire at 9am on Grahams Orchard, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:40am.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate fire involving a scooter at 2:30pm on Jenkinson Grove, Armthorpe, Doncaster. The crew came away at 3pm.

Sunday 25 September

A car was deliberate set on fire at 3:50am on Repton Road, Skellow, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 4:45am.

Five fire crews from Dearne, Adwick, Edlington, Maltby and Parkway stations attended a deliberate fire involving a derelict building at 6:05pm on Houghton Road, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 9pm.
