Weekend incidents 7/9 October 2022

Saturday 8 October

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to a derelict garage on fire at 4:10pm on Broad Street, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 5pm.

A bus was accidentally on fire at the bus station on Frederick Street, Rotherham at 6:10pm. Two fire crews from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 6:35pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate motorbike fire at 7pm on Buchanan Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:20pm.

Four fire crews from Edlington, Doncaster and Adwick stations attended a fire at a flat on Low Lands Close, Bentley, Doncaster at 7:55pm. The door had been deliberately set on fire. Firefighters left the scene at 9:45pm.

Sunday 9 October

A van was deliberately set on fire at 12:35am on Wath Road, Wombwell, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 1:45am.

Firefighters from Lowedges station attended an accidental car fire at 7:10am on White Thorns Drive, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 7:40am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 3:50pm on Skye Edge Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 4:10pm.
