Around 30 firefighters tackled a fire at a large industrial building in Sheffield on Sunday evening.

Crews from Central, Rivelin, Parkway, Tankersley and Elm Lane dealt with the incident on Stevenson Road at around 5.15pm.

The fire involved an electrical transformer inside the building and although there were a lot of flames and smoke in the early stages of the fire, these quickly died down.

The large building was disused and nobody was hurt in the incident.

Fire crews left at around 9pm on Sunday and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
