Barn and machinery destroyed in blaze

A barn and machinery have been destroyed by fire at a small holdings on Low Matlock Lane in Sheffield at 6am on Friday morning.

Four fire engines from Rivelin, Central and Elm Lane stations attended the incident.  The barn was well alight when the crews arrived.

Firefighters used hose reels to tackle the blaze.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will now take place.
