South Yorkshire firefighters joined crews from Nottinghamshire in battling a blaze in woods near Rotherham on Sunday.

Firefighters from Matlby and Aston Park in South Yorkshire worked with crews from Haworth and Worksop in Nottinghamshire in fighting the fire off the A631 near Bawtry at around 3.30pm.

They used water jets to douse the deep seated blaze and left the incident at around 5.30pm.
