Disused church building fire

Three fire engines from Central and Rivelin stations were called to Copper Street in Sheffield on Saturday (7 July) at 6pm.

A disused church building was well alight when crews arrived.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to tackle the blaze.

Fire crews left the scene at 8:45pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
