Fire appliances from Rotherham, Parkway, Dearne and Barnsley are in attendance at a furniture warehouse fire on Rawmarsh Road in Rotherham. A turntable ladder is also in attendance.

Crews were called to the scene at around 2:00pm this afternoon (Friday 20 July) with no reports of any casualties.

A small amount of smoke is in the area as firefighters continue to tackle the fire. Officers are therefore advising for local residents to try and keep windows and doors closed until the fire has been extinguished.

Crews are expected to remain at the scene for the next few hours.
