Dogs rescued from house fire

Two dogs have been rescued following a fire at a property on Haslam Crescent in Sheffield at 7:50pm on Friday night (9 Oct).

Lowedges and Central fire stations attended the incident which was in a ground floor maisonette.  A woman and three young children were already safely outside when the crews arrived.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and rescued two Alsatian dogs, who are both fine.

Crews left the scene at 10:40pm.

The fire is currently under investigation, but is not believed to be suspicious.
