On Friday at 9:13pm,  Rotherham, Parkway and Aston red watch attended an incident on Brinsworth Lane, Brinsworth in Rotherham.

On arrival, they found the grill pan had caught fire after being left under the grill.

Firefighters rescued one male in his 30s from inside, and ventilated the property which was heavily smoke logged. Luckily, the resident had working smoke alarms fitted, which were activated and prompted a response.
