Overnight incidents 27/28 November

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 7:40pm on Southey Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident and used a hose reel to put the fire out. The crew left at 7:50pm.

At 9:05pm two fire engines from Doncaster station were called to a number of old wheels and tyres which had been deliberate set on fire at Armthorpe Lane, Barnby Dun, Doncaster. Crew left the scene at 11pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station were called to a car fire on Whitehouse Lane, Sheffied just after 11pm. The VW Passatt was well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly extinguished the fire before leaving the scene at 11:30pm.

At 11:25pm a fire crew from Rivelin attended a small fire at a property on Greaves Lane, Stannington, Sheffield. The fire was in a microwave, the crew put the fire out using a hose reel and left the scene at 11:45pm.

A number of tyres were on fire at 3am this morning on Southey Green Road, Sheffield. Two fire crews from Elm Lane and Rivelin were called out to the incident. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Firefighters left at 3:35am.
