Overnight incidents 11/12 October 2020

A fire crew from Central station were called out to transit van on fire at 7:05pm on Derby Street, Sheffield. It is not known how the fire started. The crew left the scene at 7:35pm.

Two fire crews from Central station attended an accidental bin fire at 7:50pm on Church Street in Sheffield city centre. The crews left the scene at 8pm.

At 7:55pm firefighters from Barnsley station attended a commercial bin fire on Upper New Street, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire next to a property on Katherine Road, Thurcroft, Rotherham at 8:05pm. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Aston station were called out to a transit van on fire at 8:45pm on Steadfolds Lane, Thurcroft, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 9:35pm.

Two mobility scooters were deliberately set on fire at 9:20pm on Cedar Road, Thorne, Doncaster. A fire crew from Thorne station attended the incident. They left the scene at 9:35pm.
