Overnight incidents – 15/16 May

Firefighters from Doncaster were called to York Road, Bentley, at 7.54pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of rubbish alight in an underground subway tunnel. This was dealt with by 8.20pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Barnsley were called to Burnsall Grove, Kendray, at 8.18pm. Upon arrival they found a wheelie bin on fire in the middle of a football pitch. This was dealt with by 8.34pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central and Parkway were called to Amalgam Park, Tinsley, at 9.29pm. Upon arrival they found a large skip well alight. This was dealt with by 10.47pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Lamb Road, Sheffield, at 10.37pm. Upon arrival they found two vans well alight. This was dealt with by 11.34pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.
