Overnight incidents – 16/17 May

Firefighters from Cudworth, Tankersley and Dearne were called to Bridge Street, Barnsley, at 8.30pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of loose rubbish well alight inside a derelict shipping container. This was dealt with by 9.18pm and is thought to have started deliberately.

Firefighters from Doncaster were called Rose Hill Crematorium, Cantley Lane, Cantley, at 9.20pm. Upon arrival they found some trees, tree cuttings and bushes on fire. This was dealt with by 10.24pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Mappins Road, Catcliffe, at 9.47pm. Upon arrival they found a grey BMW well alight. This was dealt with by 10.24pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.
