Overnight incidents – 17/18 May

A crew from Central attended a fire involving a cooker at a property on Ringinglow Road, Sheffield at 6.21pm. Water backpacks were used to extinguish the fire. Firefighters left the scene at 6.48pm.

Firefighters from Adwick were called at 7.30pm to a fire in a house on Cotswold Gardens, Scawthorpe, Doncaster. The fire was caused  by a faulty phone charging lead in a bedroom. The fire was out before crews arrived but once in attendance they isolated the electricity and used a ventilation fan to clear the smoke. No one was injured. Crews left the scene at 8.17pm.

Firefighters from Birley Moor and Parkway attended a van fire on Carr Forge Lane, Sheffield at 11.13pm. Two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire. Crews came away from the scene shortly before midnight.

Firefighters from Doncaster were called at 3.17am to deal with a car fire on Mansfield Crescent, Armthorpe, Doncaster. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire. Crews came away from the scene at 4.28am.
