Overnight incidents 16/17 March

At 7:20pm last night firefighters from Maltby station were called out to Vauxhall Astra van on fire on Thornbury Hill Lane, Firbeck, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 8:15pm.

Three fire crews from Central and Parkway stations attended a kitchen fire in a terraced house on City Road, Sheffield at 8:30pm. The occupant suffered slight smoke inhalation and went to hospital as a precaution. The fire was an accidental fire and the crew left at 9:10pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station were called out to a rubbish fire at 8:45pm on Woodcock Place, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The fire crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

A shed was on fire at 3:10am this morning on Meredith Crescent, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended. They left at 3:45am. It was an accidental fire.
