Overnight incidents 17/18 March

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire  at 7pm in a playground on Albany Road, Kilnhurst, Rotherham. The fire crew left the scene at 7:50pm.

At 7pm last night firefighters from Rotherham station attended a fire at a domestic premise on Watson Road, Kimberworth Park, Rotherham. The fire involved a washing machine and was an accidental fire. The crew left the scene at 7:20pm.

A Ford Focus car was deliberately set on fire at 8:30pm on Rimington Road, Wombwell, Barnsley. Dearne firefighters attended the incident. They came away at 8:55pm.

At 9:15pm a fire crew from Cudworth station were called out to a grass fire on Woolley Colliery Road, Darton, Barnsley. The fire was believed to have started accidentally. The crew left at 9:45pm.

A Volvo car was deliberately set on fire at 9:50pm on Thornwood Close, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station quickly extinguished the fire. They left at 10:15pm.

A fire crew from Parkway station were called out to a rubbish fire on Waverley Road, Sheffield at 11:20pm last night. The fire was started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 12:10am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12:15am on Hawthorne Road, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The car was an Audi A3. Dearne firefighters quickly put the fire out and came away from the scene at 12:50am.
