Overnight incidents 22/23 July 2024

Firefighters from Aston station attended a deliberate fire in woods at 8:20pm on Smallage Lane, Fence, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:35pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving bushes and grass at 8:35pm on Farm Road, Kendray, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:25pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate hedge fire at 8:50pm on Briton Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:10pm on Littleworth Lane, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:30pm.

A child’s bike was deliberately set on fire at 9:10pm on Springwell Gardens, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 9:35pm.

Adwick firefighters were called out to four motorbikes on fire at 9:35pm on Green Lane, Skellow, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 10pm

Firefighters from Aston station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:10pm on Manvers Road, Beighton, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:25pm.

Three fire crews from Lowedges and Central stations were called out to a premise fire at 11:10pm on Dore Road, Sheffield. The occupant was already out of the premise and was suffering from smoke inhalation. Firefighters safely rescued a cat from the premise. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 1:05am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 2:10am on Locke Park, Park Road, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 3:55am.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate motorbike fire at 3:20am on Anchorage Lane, Sprotbrough, Doncaster. The crew came away at 3:55am.
