Overnight incidents 17/18 March 2022

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:40pm on Manor Laith Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 8pm.

Two fire crews from Edlington and Rotherham stations were called out to a deliberate shed fire at 7:50pm on Sheffield Road, Conisbrough, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 3am.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 8:05pm on Green Land Drive, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Maltby station attended a wheelie bin fire at 8:10pm on Tennyson Road, Maltby, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:20pm on Palmer Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:30pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to an accidental car fire at 9:30pm on Wombwell Lane, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10:05pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 9:40pm on Princes Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:55pm.

Parkway firefighters attended a lorry which had overturned on Poplar Way, Catcliffe, Rotherham at 10:20pm. The crew left the scene at 10:50pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:40pm on Firth Crescent, Maltby, Rotherham. The fire had spread to a fence when firefighters from Maltby station arrived at the scene. The crew came away at 10:55pm.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to deliberate fire involving a van at 10:55pm on Maple Avenue, Cantley, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:30pm.

Firefighters from Maltby station attended a deliberate fire involving a wheelie bin and fence at 11:10pm on Alexandra Street, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew came away at 11:25pm.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 6:15am on East Lane, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 6:35am.
