Weekend incidents 18/20 March 2022

Several fire crews from Elm Lane, Central, Rivelin, Parkway and Lowedges stations were called out to a mid terrace property at 2:40am (Saturday) on Willoughby Street, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately on the unoccupied house. The fire involved the first and roof area of the premise. Crews left the scene at 6:30am.

A house was accidentally on fire at 1:15pm (Saturday) on Routhwood Road, Kimberworth Park, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham, Tankersley, Parkway and Rivelin stations attended the incident. The fire involved the roof/attic area. The crews left the scene at 3:15pm.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a moped at 3:15pm (Saturday) on Old Colliery Way, Swallownest, Rotherham. The crew came away at 3:40pm.

A vehicle (pick up) was deliberately set on fire at 10:45pm (Saturday) on Briar Road, Armthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne station attended the incident. They left at 11:40pm.

Firefighters from Thorne station were called out to a deliberate fire involving two vans at 11:50pm (Saturday) on Westfield Road, Fishlake, Doncaster. The crew left the scnee at 1:40am.

A transit van was deliberately set on fire at 4:10am (Sunday) on Park Street, Masbrough, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 4:45am.

Five fire crews from Central, Aston, Parkway, Rivelin and Elm Lane stations were called out to a derelict pub on fire at 1:55pm (Sunday) on Broad Street, Sheffield. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 4:40pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended a fire involving a bin chute at 4:40pm (Sunday) on Longley Hall Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew came away at 5:30pm.
