Overnight incidents 18/19 March

A pile of rubbish was deliberately set on fire on Pontefract Road Lundwood, Barnsley at 7:50pm. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended and they left the scene at 8pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station were called out to a car fire at 9:30pm last night on Newhall Road, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 10:15pm.

A Fiat Punto car was deliberately set on fire at 9:45pm on Wellington Grove, Bentley, Doncaster. Adwick firefighters attended the incident. They left the scene at 10:20pm.

A fire crew from Barnsley station were called to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:50pm on Rhodes Terrace, Barnsley. The crew left at 12:05am.

A VW Polo was on fire on Rockside Road, Thurlstone, Barnsley at 1am this morning. A fire crew from Barnsley attended the incident. The fire is believed to be accidental. The crew left the scene at 1:35am.

At 1:20am Edlington firefighters were called to a fridge-freezer which had been deliberately set on fire outside on Princes Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew left at 1:45am.

Several wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire in a park at 1:50am on Hazel Road, Edlington, Doncaster. A fire crew from Edlington attended. They left the scene at 2:10am.

Three fire crews from Elm Lane and Central stations were called out to a deliberate car fire on Firth Park Road, Sheffield at 3:45am. The fire had spread slightly to the outside of a property affecting the guttering, windows and doors. The crews left at 4:45am.
