Overnight incidents 2/3 January

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:15pm on York Road, Dunscroft, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne station were called to the incident.  They left at 7:35pm.

At 9:20pm another wheelie bin was also deliberately set alight. Adwick fire crew were called to the incident at The Ridge, Woodlands, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:55pm.

Two fire engines from Rotherham and Parkway were called to a skip which had been deliberately set on fire at 9:50pm on Alma Road, Moorgate, Rotherham. The fire spread slightly to the outside windows of an empty property. The crews left at 10:35pm.

Two wheelie bins were set on fire on Maltkiln Street in Rotherham Town Centre last night at 10:05pm. Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to deal with it. They left at 10:35pm.

Rotherham station attended a skip fire on Quintec Court, Parkgate, Rotherham at 11:15pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Firefighters left at 11:35pm.

At 1:30am this morning Cudworth firefighters were called out to Woodcross Avenue, Grimethorpe, Barnsley were a pile of rubbish had been set fire to. The crew left at 1:50am.

Another skip was also deliberately set on fire at 3:10am on King Georges Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. Doncaster firefighters attended the incident. They left at 3:50am.
