A round up of incidents over the new year period

A taxi was deliberately set on fire on Woodbourn Road, Sheffield at 7:35pm on New Years Eve. Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:15pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station were called out to a transit van on fire on King Georges Road, New Rossington, Doncaster at 11:55pm on New Years Eve. They used a hose reel to put the fire out which had been started deliberately. The crew left at 12:40am.

At 9:45am on New Years Day three fire engines from Birley Moor, Parkway and Central stations were called out to a cooker fire at a property on Richmond Road, Sheffield. The fire was contained to the cooker and was quickly extinguished. Crews left the scene at 10:25am.

On New Years Day at 9:05pm Edlington fire station attended a wheelie bin fire on St Johns Road, Edlington, Doncaster. The bin was in a skate park and it had been deliberately set on fire. The crew left at 9:30pm.

Also on New Years Day at 9:45pm Adwick station were called out to a car fire on Bilham Lane, Bilham, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 10:40pm.

This morning at 1am Elm Lane station attended a car fire on Earl Marshal Road, Sheffield. The cause of the fire is not known. Firefighters left at 1:35am.

Three wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire on Victoria Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley at 1:15am this morning. Dearne firefighters attended the incident and used a hose reel to put fire out. The crew left at 1:45am.

At 2am on Mill Road, Sheffield a wheelie bin was set on fire. Elm Lane station attended. They left the scene at 2:30am.

A bench on a playing field was deliberatley set on fire this morning at 3:20am. Firefighters from Adwick station attended.  They left the scene at 3:50am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a vehicle fire on Warmsworth Halt, Warmsworth, Doncaster at 5am. They used a hose reel to put the fire out which had started accidentally. The crew left at 5:20am.
