Overnight incidents 21/22 April 2022

Maltby firefighters were called out to a grassland fire at 7:05pm on Blyth Road, Maltby, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 7:40pm.

Firefighters from Lowedges station attended a deliberate grassland fire on Bradway Road, Sheffield at 7:30pm.  The crew came away at 8:25pm.

Bushes and branches were deliberately set on fire at 7:35pm on Taverner Way, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 8pm.

Barnsley station attended an accidental fire involving bushes and grassland at 7:40pm on Dearne Valley Parkway Eastbound, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew came away at 8:30pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a deliberate fire involving bushes and grassland at 7:40pm on Hunningley Lane, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire at 8pm on Myton Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:25pm.

A fire crew from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Henley Rise, Thornhill, Rotherham at 8:30pm. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving grassland at 8:30pm on Queen Mary Rise, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:55pm on Falstaff Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

Several wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 4:15am on Town Moor Avenue, Town Fields, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 4:45pm.
