Overnight incidents 22/23 April 2021

Three fire crews from Thorne, Doncaster and Askern stations were called to a car park on an industrial estate at 7:05pm on Waggons Way, Stainforth, Doncaster. Several vehicles were on fire. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 9:10pm.

Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate grass fire at 7:20pm on Leger Way, Intake Doncaster. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

A HGV was deliberately set on fire at 7:20pm on Ryton Road, Anston, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston and Maltby stations attended the incident. They came away at 7:35pm.

At 7:25pm Birley Moor firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire on Dogs Kennel Lane, Kiveton Park, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:25pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a grassland fire at 8pm on Centenary Way, Canklow, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a fire involving grassland and bushes at 8:15pm on Lund Hill Lane, Royston, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:40pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:30pm on Lang Avenue, Lundwood, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 8:40pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a fire involving a road sign at 8:55pm on Hermit Lane, Higham, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

A fire crew from Dearne station attended a deliberate fire involving bushes at 9:20pm on Lawrence Drive, Swinton, Rotherham. The crew left at 9:35pm.

A conifer tree was deliberately set on fire on Woodfield Road, Balby, Doncaster at 1am. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They came away at 1:25am.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 2:05am on Hastings Street, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 2:25am.
