Overnight incidents 23/24 June 2022

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire at 7:15pm on Manvers Way, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7:50pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a bin fire at 7:50pm on Moorland View, West Melton, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 8:20pm.

A skip was accidentally on fire at 8:15pm on Ecclesall Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 8:35pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a mattress on fire in woods at Wincobank Lane, Sheffield at 9:20pm. The fire is believed to have started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 9:40pm.

Firefighters from Thorne station attended a deliberate grassland fire at 9:25pm on Waggons Way, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:45pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:35pm on Amersall Road, Scawthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 9:50pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a motorbike at 9:40pm on Water Slacks, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:25pm on Avenue Road, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew came away at 11:45pm.

Four fire crews from Doncaster, Adwick and Edlington stations attended a deliberate premise fire at 1:40am on Ramsden Road, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. There were no casualties at the incident. The crews left the scene at 3:20am.

Firefighters from Central and Maltby stations were called out to a small storage area on fire in a carpark at 2am on Church Lane, Dinnington, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 3:15am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 3:30am on Herringthorpe Valley Road, Herringthorpe, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident.  They left the scene at 3:55am.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a fence at 6:05am on Kitson Drive, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. The crew came away at 6:35am.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 6:55am on Centurion Street, Templeborough, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 8:05am.
