Weekend incidents 24/26 June 2022

Friday 24 June

Three fire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a garden fire which had spread to a conservatory on Keppel Road, Sheffield at 8:50pm. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 9:05pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 8:50pm on Ulley Lane, Ulley, Rotherham. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 9:30pm.

Parkway firefighters attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 9:40pm on Smelter Wood Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

Saturday 25 June 

Firefighters from Dearne station were called out to an accidental fire involving woodland at 8:45am on Farfield Lane, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:40am.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to an accidental shed fire at 2:55pm on Dentons Green Lane, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster. The crew came away at 3:30pm.

A detached garage was deliberately set on fire at 3:55pm on Finch Road, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 5:30pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 10:40pm on Cobden View Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 11:15pm.

Two cars were deliberately set on fire at 10:40pm on Freedom Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 11:45pm.

Sunday 26 June

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 5:20am on Wordsworth Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 6am.

Three fire crews from Barnsley and Tankersley stations attended a deliberate fire involving wooden paneling on the side of a premise on Queensway, Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley at 6:15pm. The crew left the scene at 7:05pm.
