Overnight incidents 26/27 August 2020

A bike was deliberately set on fire at 7:40pm on Paterson Road, Dinnington, Rotherham. A fire crew from Aston station attended the incident. They came away at 8:20pm.

Two fire crew from Doncaster station attended a car and HGV on fire at 8:10pm on Balby Carr Bank, Balby, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 8:55pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended an accidental bin fire at 10:10pm at Wellgate in Rotherham Town Centre. The crew left at 10:20pm.

A mattress was deliberately set on fire on a driveway at 11:25pm on Dryden Road, Sheffield. Central station were called out to the incident. They came away at 11:45pm.

Four fire crews from Rotherham, Dearne and Maltby stations attended a premise fire at 1:20am on Williams Street, Parkgate, Rotherham. One woman was rescued from the property by firefighters, luckily the lady did not need to go to hospital. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left at 2:10am.

At 5:15am this morning firefighters from Maltby station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on Tickhill Road, Bawtry, Doncaster. The crew left at 5:50am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 6:10am on Parkfield Road, Clifton, Rotherham. A fire crew from Rotherham station attended the incident. They came away at 6:20am.
