Overnight incidents 25/26 August 2020

Rotherham firefighters were called out to cut conifers and hay bales on fire at 7:35pm on Worrygoose Lane, Whiston, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 8:10pm.

A tumble dryer was accidentally on fire at a premise on Woodcross Avenue, Cantley, Doncaster at 7:35pm. Three fire crews from Doncaster and Edlington stations attended the incident. They left at 8pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:20pm on Highstone Road, Worsbrough Common, Barnsley. A fire crew from Barnsley were called out to the incident. They came away at 10:55pm.

Three LGV vehicles were deliberately set on fire last night at 10:45pm on Parkway Drive, Sheffield. Three fire crews from Parkway and Central stations attended the incident. They came away at 11:45pm.

At 11:15pm firefighters from Rotherham station were called out to a carpet on fire on grassland at McManus Avenue, Rawmarsh, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 11:30pm.

A caravan was deliberately set on fire at 2:10am on Farquhar Road, Maltby, Rotherham. Three fire crews from Maltby, Edlington and Aston stations attended the incident. They left the scene at 2:50am.
