Two fire engines are parked up on an area of farm land, on a hill. The weather is dull and it appears to be in the late evening. Two firefighters can be seen in the distance, walking between the two fire engines.

Overnight incidents – 26/27 May

Firefighters from Cudworth and Barnsley were called to Nancy Road, Grimethorpe, at 9.15pm. Upon arrival they found a smoke logged flat. Firefighters entered the property and found that the smoke logging was due to a pan being left on the hob. This was dealt with by 9.47pm and nobody was harmed.

Firefighters from Rotherham, Elm Lane and Aston Park were called to Midland Road, Masbrough, at 9.24pm. Upon arrival they found a temporary building fully involved in fire, on an industrial site. Firefighters gained access to the site and extinguished the fire. This was dealt with by 10.43pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.
