Overnight incidents 26/27 November

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a car fire on Fleetwood Avenue, Monk Bretton, Barnsley at 8:30pm. The Mitsubishi 4×4 was well alight when crews arrived. They used a hose reel to put the fire out which had been deliberately set on fire.

Two fire crews from Dearne and Rotherham stations attended a fire at an industrial premise on Meadows Road, Manvers, Rotherham at 10pm. An extractor unit was on fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.  This was an accidental fire. The crews left the scene at 11:10pm.

At 10:45pm a Malty fire crew were called to a car fire on Green Balk, Clifton, Doncaster. The car was badly damaged and is thought to have been a Vauxhall Astra. This was a deliberate fire and firefighters left the scene at 11:05pm.
