Overnight incidents 25/26 November

Rotherham firefighters were called to a fire involving tyres at 7:50pm at Droppingwell Roade, Kimberworth, Rotherham. Firefighters used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the incident at 8:10pm. The fire was a deliberate fire.

At 9:05pm a fire crew from Parkway station attended a wheelie bin fire at Castlebeck Avenue, Sheffield. The fire had been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 9:25pm.

Another wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:15 at Manor Park Way, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station used a hose real to put the fire out and left the scene at 9:30pm.

At 10.45pm Edlington station attended a car fire on Evelyn Avenue, Intake, Doncaster.  It was a deliberate fire and the crew left at 11:20pm.

Three fire engines from Doncaster, Adwick and Maltby stations were called out to a rubbish fire inside a derelict house at 11:20pm on Warmsworth Road, Balby, Doncaster.  This was also a deliberate fire with the crews left the scene 11:55pm.

Firefighters from Barnsley station attended a car fire on Windham Close, Barnsley just before 2am this morning. The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire which had started accidentally. They left the scene at 2:40am.

At 4:15am a car was deliberately set on fire at High Street, Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley. A crew from Barnsley station were there was 30 minutes.

Firefighters from Doncaster and Edlington attended reports of a house fire on Warmsworth Road, Balby, at 6.47am. Upon arrival they found smoke issuing from the front window of a house, which turned out to be from a small BBQ that had been lit in a bedroom. This was extinguished by crews who left at 7.20am. No injuries.

A crew from Elm Lane were called at 9.52am to Colley Road, Sheffield. This call was to a large skip on fire. This deliberate and was extinguished by 10.06am.
