Overnight incidents 5/6 May 2022

Two mattresses were deliberately set on fire at 7:30pm on Vikinglea Drive, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 7:45pm.

Five fire crews from Parkway, Rotherham, Central, Elm Lane and Aston stations were called out to an industrial premise at 8:30pm on Park House Lane, Sheffield. A generator was accidentally on fire. Crews left the scene at 10:40pm.

Central firefighters attended a deliberate fire in woodlands at 8:40pm on Manor Park Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to a a deliberate fire involving a fridge in a garden on Newmarch Street, Sheffield at 9:10pm. The crew came away at 9:35pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:30pm on Newhill Road, Smithies, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 10:15pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:15pm on West Street, Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10:45pm.

Firefighters from Lowedges station attended a deliberate fire involving a motorbike at 10:25pm on Greenhill Park, Gresley Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10:35pm on Station Road, Hatfield, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne station attended the incident. They left at 11:20pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate van fire at 1:40am on Carlton Road, Smithies, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 2:35am.

A fire crew from Lowedges station attended a deliberate car fire on Blackstock Close, Sheffield at 3:25am. The crew came away at 4am.

Four bins were deliberately set on fire at 6:05am on Bridgegate in Rotherham Town Centre this morning. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 6:45am.
