Overnight incidents 7/8 August 2022

Doncaster firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving grassland and trees at 7:05pm at Lakeside, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:45pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:35pm on Delves Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:50pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate grass fire on Stainton Lane, Stainton, Doncaster at 7:40pm. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

A fire crew from Tankersley station attended a grass fire at 7:50pm on Hunningley Lane, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:15pm.

Three fire crews from Central and Parkway stations attended a derelict building fire at 8:25pm on Spital Hill, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 10:55pm.

Two fire crews from Birley Moor stations were called out to a deliberate fire involving old furniture on fire in a bin store at 9:15pm on Errington Avenue, Sheffield. The crews came away at 9:40pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving trees and rubbish at 11:05pm on Union Street, Masbrough, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 11:35pm.

Firefighters from Thorne station were called out to a deliberate grass fire at 11:15pm on Bootham Lane, Dunscroft, Doncaster. The crew came away at 11:40pm.

A car was accidentally on fire at 1am on Montrose Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 1:55am.
