Overnight incidents 8/9 August 2022

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving trees and bushes at 7:05pm on Oswin Avenue, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:30pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish and hedge fire at 7:35pm on Truro Avenue, Wheatley, Doncaster.  The crew came away at 8:20pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a field fire at 8:10pm on Bassingthorpe Lane, Munsbrough, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

Cudworth firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:25pm on Biscay Way, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 10:05pm.

A field was deliberately set on fire at 9:30pm on Woodhead Lane, Blackerhill, Barnsley. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 10:15pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate grass fire at 9:45pm on Priory Place, Lundwood, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10:05pm.

Four fire crews from Tankersley, Dearne, Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended a deliberate fire at 10:25pm on Roebuck Hill, Jump, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 11:45pm.

Aston station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire in a field on Scarsdale Street, Dinnington, Rotherham at 1:40am. The crew came away at 1:55am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 4:25am on Barbers Avenue, Parkgate, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 4:40am.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 5:25am on Carlisle Street, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 5:50am.
