Overnight incidents 7/8 March 2021

Firefighters from Thorne station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:05pm on Land Ends Road, Thorne, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

Three fire crews from Rotherham and Maltby stations attended a premise at 7:15pm on Staple Green Thrybergh, Rotherham. The fire is believed to be an accidental fire involving cooking. The crews left the scene at 7:50pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving an industrial bin at 7:25pm on Sheffield Road, Templeborough, Rotherham. Firefighters left the scene at 7:55pm.

At 9:50pm four fire crews from Parkway, Central and Birley Moor stations were called out to a road traffic collision on the A57, Sheffield. One car was involved in the incident. Firefighters carried out an extrication to rescue one casualty. The crews left the scene at 10:40pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 10pm on Greenland Way, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They came away at 10:15pm.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a mobility scooter which was accidentally on fire at 10:45pm on Armthorpe Road, Intake, Doncaster. Firefighters left the scene at 11:05pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 12:25am on Cedar Road, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left the scene at 12:45am.
