Overnight incidents 8/9 July 2021

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Central and Tankersley stations were called out to a premise on Keresforth Close, Barnsley at 7:05pm. There was a small rubbish fire in a room. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 8pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham and Elm Lane station attended a road traffic collision at 7:15pm on Roseberry Street, Holmes, Rotherham. The incident involved two cars and one of the cars was on its roof. Two casualties went to hospital. The crews left the scene at 8:40pm.

At 7:45pm three fire crews from Central and Birley Moor were called out to a fire involving a communal bin and bin chute at 7:45pm on Sands Close, Sheffield. The is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 8:05pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate fire involving rubbish and wood at 10:25pm on Stone Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:50pm.

A VW Polo car was deliberately set on fire at 11:05pm on Sledmere Road, Scawsby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 11:30pm.

Two fire crews from Rotherham and Elm Lane stations were called out to a road traffic collision at 11:30pm on Sheffield Road, Templeborough, Rotherham. It was a one car incident. Firefighters extricated one casualty. The crews left the scene at 11:55pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 11:40pm on Clifton Street, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They came away at 12:10am.

Rivelin firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 11:50pm on Palgrave Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 12:05am.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate bin fire on Sheffield Road, Barnsley at 3:30am. The fire crew left the scene at 3:50am.
