Overnight incidents 7/8 July 2021

A wheelie bin was accidentally on fire at 7:45pm on Harborough Hill Road, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 8pm.

Tankersley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a LGV at 7:45pm on Sheffield Road, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

Two fire crews from Birley Moor station attended a deliberate fire involving rubbish and tyres and 8:20pm on Rotherside Road, Eckington, Sheffield. Firefighters left the scene at 9:20pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to an accidental fire involving a conifer at 8:25pm on Tinker Lane, Hoyland, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

At 10:35pm firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on Old Mill Lane, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:55pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 11:15pm on Saddler Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 12:05am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a commercial wheelie bin on fire at 2:55am on Queens Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 3:25am.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 3:45am on Edlington Lane, Edlington, Doncaster. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 4:25am.

Five fire crews from, Parkway, Elm Lane and Central stations were called out to an industrial premise on Fullerton Road, Canklow, Rotherham at 10:40am (08.07.21). Machinery was involved in the fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. There were no reports of any casualties. Crews left the scene at 12:30pm.
