Three gardens hit by deliberate fire in Sheffield

A shed, some fences, garden furniture and conifers – stretching across three different properties – were involved in a fire on Ambleside Close, Sheffield, last night (Monday 1 April).

Firefighters from Birley Moor were called to tackle the blaze, at 10.44pm, after it had been started deliberately in two different places.

Crews used jets to tackle the two fires, which ended up combined into one incident, and had the flames extinguished by 11.20pm.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
