Weekend incidents 24/26 January

An Audi car was deliberately set on fire at 1:35am on Saturday morning on Holmes Lane, Holmes, Rotherham. Rotherham firefighters attended the incident. They left at 2:15am.

At 2am Saturday morning three fire engines from Rivelin and Central stations were called out to a premise fire on Manchester Road, Crosspool, Sheffield. The fire was in the front room and was believed to have been caused by a candle. A woman suffered slight smoke inhalation. The crews left at 3:15am.

Dearne firefighters attended a vehicle fire at 2am (Saturday) on Lansdown Close, Thurscoe, Barnsley. The crews left at 3am. The cause of the fire in not known.

At 3:40am (Saturday) Rivelin firefighters were called out to vehicle fire on Fox Hill Crescent, Sheffield. The fire had spread  to wheelie bins and a shed. The crew left at 4:15am. It was a deliberate fire.

A Mercedes car was deliberately set on fire at 8:40pm (Saturday) on Doncaster Road, Mexborough, Doncaster. Dearne firefighters attended the incident. They left at 9:55pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 9:20pm (Saturday) on Ferrars Road, Sheffield. The crew left at 10:10pm.

At 1:20am (Sunday) Rotherham firefighters attended a Vauxhall Corsa which had been deliberately set on fire . The crew left at 1:55am.

A car was delibately set on fire at 2:30am (Sunday) on Sandy Lane, Belle Vue, Doncaster. Doncaster firefighters attended the incident. They left at 3am.

Adwick firefighters were called out to a shed fire on Askern Road, Bentley, Doncaster at 12:30pm (Sunday). The shed was on an allotment. The crew left at 1pm. It was a deliberate fire.

At 3:50pm (Sunday) a motor scooter was deliberatley set on fire on Queen Mary Road, Sheffield. Birley Moor firefighters attended the incident. They left at 4:20pm.
