Weekend incidents 27/29 May 2022

Friday 27 May

Two vehicles were deliberately set on fire at 10:50pm on Gainsborough Close, Flanderwell, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 11:40pm.

Saturday 28 May

Firefighters from Central station were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:35am on Ellesmere Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1:25am.

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley stations attended a detached garage on fire at 2:25am on Pindar Oaks Street, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew left the scene at 3:45am.

Firefighters from Rivelin, Central and Elm stations were called out to a premise fire at 9:50am on Melbourn Road, Sheffield. The attic was accidentally on fire. The occupant went to hospital for a check up. Firefighters left the scene at 11:15am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 12:50pm on Holbrook Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 1:25pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 9:05pm on Balk Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. The fire crew left the scene at 9:45pm.

Firefighters from Malby station attended an accidental shed fire at 9:05pm on Firbeck Avenue, Laughton-en-le-Morthern, Rotherham. The crew came away at 10:10pm.

Sunday 29 May

A car was accidentally on fire at 3:10pm on Beaumont Avenue, Barnsley.  Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 3:35pm.
